Your gift this Advent could restore sight for someone living in one of the world’s poorest communities, transforming their life for ever. £36 could fund cataract surgery and transport to hospital for a grandmother like Salomé and a carer. Salomé was blind for more than 2 years, unable to afford treatment or even the bus fare to hospital. 

After sight-restoring surgery, Salomé can now get around safely, cook and care for her grandchildren. “This is such a blessing. I am going to enjoy going to church, reading the bible, seeing the hills and being able to walk” says Salomé.
