Philippa Osei finds inspiration in Korea

As Moderator-Elect of the United Reformed Church Youth Assembly, I was recently invited by the Council for World Mission and the World Council of Reformed Churches to South Korea for the Women in Leadership Roundtable. It was a baptism of fire! Thirty female leaders, young and old, from around the world met in the centre of Seoul to discuss our contexts and how we navigate a patriarchal world and Church. My eyes were opened to so many issues facing women in the Church, including anti-imperialist conflicts, indigenous discrimination, and the plight of our Iranian sisters….
