The URC’s presence at Greenbelt Festival 2024 – with the theme of ‘Dream On’ – was the culmination of months of preparation, bringing to life ideas of how the Church can keep dreaming, growing and reaching out to the world
Greenbelt Festival is arguably the most diverse Christian festival you’ll find on these shores. It celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, and you might think that by now they would have settled on a tried-and-tested formula. Yet, back in 2023, the directors of the event came to the URC and asked if we could help them innovate, to broaden the reach and appeal of the festival to new audiences, and to help the Church to dream of a world where people often found on the edges and margins of society could be welcomed and included….
