Enjoy, at my expense, my most embarrassing moment of recent times.

I was booked to perform a comedy show in a church – surely a scene ripe for embarrassment. Due to either high budget or low expectations, the church booked an extra comedian too. We’ll call him Jeff (names changed to protect the innocent).

Jeff was a young, eager up-and-comer – a few gigs under his belt but in need of a few more for a polished stand-up routine…
