A faith that can respond to the news needs to be more than individual,

President Donald Trump is a Christian! Some readers might challenge the statement; his supporters in America take it for granted. No one ever gets elected as US President unless she or he (so far he) is some sort of Christian. This is not because of the US Constitution but a matter of convention. All Presidents have been Christians of one kind or another; many of them – but not necessarily the best – have been Reformed. Voters don’t have to be religious but in 2024, as in 2016, it was white evangelical Christians whose votes made Trump President of a nation our Reformed forefathers on the Mayflower and other ships did so much to found….
