Lydia Raddings reports on a monumental ecumenical gathering for young people
At the end of January, I and a couple of others from the URC attended an ecumenical gathering of young adults at Dearen Valley Activity Centre near Doncaster. ‘Junction 25’ was organised by the URC, Methodists, the Church of Scotland, Baptists, and the Quakers.
During the weekend we participated in workshops on evangelism and on relationships, and we had time to have open discussions on all aspects of our church life. We were also able to relax and play games with each other, and take part in activities such as climbing, archery and a walk across a viaduct. We ended the weekend with worship that was planned by the young adults who attended the gathering…
